The two types of Fusor i will be using on the fibreglass work are Fusor 100EZ and 127EZ, the 100EZ is designed for repairs to fibreglass using the twin pack resin and matting, 127EZ is for bonding body panels, bumpers, trim etc.
I applied fusor around the damaged area, then built up layers of matting (like a pyramid, smallest against the damaged area) with fusor between each layer of matting, beteen each layer i used a roller to ensure the fusor and matting were completely adhered and all air was squeezed out.
Repairs to the lower edge of the clip, Fusor and matting applied on the inside and outside edges to sandwich the damaged area and give additional strength, the outer edge would then be smoothed and filled.
The steel work was then bolted back into place.
While the clip was of and accessable i cleaned all the inner wheel arches and inside, this would make the engine bay look clean and tidy.
